Navy Seals Asvab Requirements
Jul/101
not only the Navy has three job offers!?
I've been talking to a Navy recruiter and for a while and says the only jobs that can register for SEAL rescue swimmer, and some nuclear work. because the sea is too full. the only reason I want to join is to become and controller air traffic. I do not qualify for the formation of the FAA, and I do not want to go to college for 4 years. I am taking the ASVAB tomorrow morning … and A friend told me if I score quite well, a 93 AFQT I have the right to any job offer in the northwest region. Can anyone verify this? or at least more information on how you can become a NAVY ATC. (I also understand that there are minimum requirements to be an ATC, but I did very well in practice ASVAB, should I do fine the real one.) USAF I go instead?
You are holding out to work harder to get in any branch of the armed forces. I was a recruiter Army for 18 years and dozens of people who wanted that job, or not, all but one, finally got their second choice. You probably AFQT 93 qualify for almost any job in the Navy has to offer. The only problem with the assumption is that you can not recognize the fact that there can be no vacancy for the job you want.

A high score on the asvab does not automatically mean you will get the job you want. A high score will how ever make it easier for you to choose any job you would prefer. Remember this you must complete 8 weeks of basic then you will go on leave for about a week or two then you will attend the A or B school of your choice.
The most important rule however is get it in writing if you score high and want to be an air traffic controller then get it in writing. You may have to wait for a period of time for a school to open up but it is wroth the wait believe me
